Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Assistant to support attorneys within a collaborative, employment law-focused practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to attorneys specializing in employment law and civil litigation
  • Manage complex calendaring, including court deadlines, filings, and key case milestones
  • Assist with litigation processes, including document preparation, filings, and case organization
  • Support trial preparation, including coordinating materials and logistics
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize case files and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and external partners as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative office environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Experience supporting employment law and/or civil litigation attorneys
  • Strong knowledge of law firm calendaring and court deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Paralegal certification
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
