Our client is an established consumer products manufacturer with more than 30 years in business and roughly 400 employees. They produce personal care, cosmetic, household, and specialty products for many of the most recognized brands on the shelf, along with their own brand portfolio. The company has doubled in size over the past four years. With new investment behind it, it is building for its next stage of growth while keeping the family-oriented culture it was founded on.
The Role
The Account Coordinator is the customer's day-to-day point of contact. You'll keep information accurate and moving between customers and internal teams. You'll also partner with sales, production, and the warehouse so every order ships on time.
What You'll Do
- Track and expedite every stage of orders for assigned customer accounts
- Coordinate daily shipments and make sure they go out as scheduled
- Serve as the main liaison between customers and production facilities
- Monitor customer materials and production runs to protect delivery dates
- Prepare customer reporting, including status and inventory reports
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and drive issues to resolution
- Support the sales team with order entry, follow-ups, and sample coordination
- Join the Sales Director on customer visits and attend tradeshows as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree, or an associate degree with 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in customer service, account coordination, or order management
- Experience in OEM, private label, or contract manufacturing is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working against shifting deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- A problem-solver who can own accounts independently while partnering with sales
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility. It includes regular time on the production floor and in the warehouse, where safety and dress requirements apply. You may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and some chemicals.
