HR Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the HR team with a strong focus on compliance, employee records, and HR operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain exposure across multiple HR functions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring HR processes are executed accurately and efficiently, while supporting ongoing HR projects and maintaining compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
HR Compliance & Employee Records
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and documentation
Ensure all onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation is complete and compliant
Audit employee records and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation
Track and manage compliance-related paperwork and deadlines
Onboarding & HR Operations
Support onboarding processes, including collecting and verifying new hire paperwork
Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Assist with HR systems updates and data entry accuracy
Administrative & Project Support
Provide administrative support to the HR team across various initiatives
Assist with HR projects, reporting, and process improvements
Communicate with employees to collect information and resolve documentation gaps
Cross-Functional Exposure
Gain exposure to broader HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, and L&D (as needed)
Opportunity to support recruiting or other HR initiatives based on interest and business needs
What They’re Looking For
1–3+ years of experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or administrative role
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks
Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion
Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
Proactive, “doer” mindset — willing to jump in and support where needed
Strong communication skills and ability to follow up effectively
