Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000

Position Summary:

A fast-growing national service provider is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Purchasing to oversee its centralized procurement operations. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in high-volume environments and has a proven track record of driving purchasing performance, team development, and operational efficiency. The Director will lead a centralized team responsible for sourcing, compliance, vendor management, and purchasing process optimization across a multi-site operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all core functions of the centralized purchasing team to meet monthly performance goals

  • Oversee daily procurement operations to align with service schedules and site-specific demands

  • Provide strategic direction on purchasing strategy, vendor partnerships, and compliance

  • Analyze operational metrics and develop actionable insights to drive efficiency and accountability

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members with a focus on performance, growth, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen cost control and supplier performance

  • Drive large-scale purchasing initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and value alignment

  • Leverage deep product knowledge and supply chain insight to lead end-to-end procurement projects

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, and systems teams to ensure alignment of purchasing goals with broader business objectives

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in aftermarket or OEM parts purchasing, preferably in automotive or service-related sectors

  • 2–4 years in a leadership role managing high-impact teams or procurement projects

  • Strong understanding of decentralized purchasing functions within a complex supply chain

  • Excellent communication and data analysis skills, including reporting and KPI development

  • Ability to inspire and influence across teams and leadership levels

  • Background in automotive parts and service is highly desirable

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; startup or scaling experience is a plus

  • SQL knowledge is a bonus

Salary & Benefits:
