Position Title: Senior Accountant – Australia Group
Location: Hybrid | Woodland Hills, CA (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 base salary

Position Summary:

A multi-billion dollar, publicly traded travel company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Australia Group, which manages sales to Australian passengers. Based in Woodland Hills, CA, this role focuses on accounting, reconciliations, and reporting while supporting month-end close, cash operations, and audits. The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Australia Senior Manager and support accounting functions for the Australia Group.

• Oversee air accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries.

• Manage cash operations: wire batches, refunds, and FX adjustments.

• Perform month-end close activities (transfer pricing, FX revaluations, accruals).

• Prepare management reports and support internal/external audits.

• Enhance internal controls and contribute to ad hoc projects.
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to IFRS a plus.

• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).

• Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP preferred.

• Strong communication and analytical skills, with ability to work cross-functionally.
