Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient, Telehealth & Aquatic Therapy
Location: Stanwood, Washington
Pay Rate: $28–$37 per hour + Monthly Performance Bonuses
Bonuses: $2,500 Sign-On Bonus or $5,000 “Bring a Friend” Bonus (if two PTAs join together)
Schedule: Full-Time (30+ hours/week) or PRN | 4 in-clinic days + 1 telehealth day | Monday–Friday

About the Opportunity

Our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Stanwood, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines in-clinic, aquatic therapy, and telehealth patient care, giving you flexibility, mentorship, and long-term career growth in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

You’ll be part of an innovative model of musculoskeletal (MSK) care developed by Joint Academy—a proven, evidence-based program that helped make Sweden the first country to reduce joint replacements through early intervention and digital rehab technology. Full-time PTAs (30+ hours/week) receive full benefits, mentorship, CEU support, and student loan reimbursement for the life of the loan. A PRN option is also available (minimum 30 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 45-minute outpatient therapy sessions under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Assist with treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and aquatic therapy patients

• Conduct telehealth sessions one day per week using digital rehab platforms

• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR system

• Educate patients on mobility, recovery, and injury prevention

• Collaborate closely with PTs and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active or eligible Washington State PTA license

• Current CPR certification

• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient engagement skills

• Comfortable using EMR and telehealth systems

• Experience in aquatic therapy preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $28–$37 per hour (based on experience)
