Business Development Manager
Position Title: Business Development Manager – Commercial Electrical Services
Location: Onsite | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 base + quarterly commission & bonus potential
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts within our commercial electrical services division. This role is responsible for driving market expansion, developing strategic client relationships, and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical construction and a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, networking, and industry events
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support growth and long-term strategic partnerships
Develop customized electrical solutions for clients and collaborate with internal teams on proposals and project execution
Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track leads, and monitor proposal progress
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to increase visibility and brand presence
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in business development or sales within the commercial electrical or construction industry
Knowledge of electrical construction, systems, and maintenance services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and committed to driving growth
Salary & Benefits:
Base salary: $100,000 – $125,000
