A Rare Lifestyle Psychiatry Opportunity

Join a 12-bed geriatric psychiatry unit on a beautiful senior living healthcare campus in San Francisco. This inpatient unit provides care for adults age 55+ in a calmer, more supportive environment than a typical acute psychiatric ward.

Psychiatrists benefit from a predictable Tuesday–Friday schedule, no weekend shifts, and a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team focused on delivering compassionate care to older adults.

This role also offers meaningful schedule flexibility. While physicians round and provide care on site, they do not need to remain on campus the entire day once patient care responsibilities are completed. Documentation and follow-up work may be completed remotely from home, provided the physician remains available by phone for the care team if needed.

This position is ideal for psychiatrists seeking a sustainable inpatient practice, reduced hospital intensity, or a transition from high-volume hospital systems.
