Type: Full-time, direct hire
The Role
You’ll keep high-speed production lines running on second shift. That means troubleshooting breakdowns during production, completing scheduled preventive maintenance, and handling facility repairs. You’ll often be a go-to tech on the floor, so you need to be comfortable diagnosing and fixing problems on your own.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair converting, filling, and packaging equipment, including folders, cutters, fillers, wrappers, labelers, case packers, and conveyors
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems, and get lines back up quickly
- Complete preventive maintenance and document work orders
- Read prints and schematics, and use meters to trace faults
- Support changeovers, equipment installs, and facility repairs such as plumbing and light carpentry
- Fabricate or repair parts when needed, including basic welding and machining
- Follow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures
What You Bring
- 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production plant
- Real troubleshooting on production equipment: motors, motor controls, sensors, 480V three-phase, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyors
- Experience with packaging, filling, bottling, or converting lines (strongly preferred)
- An associate degree, apprenticeship, or trade training in industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience
- Comfort working independently on second shift
Nice to Have
- PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley a plus)
- CMMS experience
- GMP, food, or other regulated manufacturing experience
- Welding or machining skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Please note: This role requires production line maintenance experience. Warehouse/distribution center, residential, property maintenance, or construction-only electrical experience will not meet the requirements.
