Pelvic Path is a boutique, cash-based outpatient practice in San Rafael, CA seeking a California-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a background or interest in outpatient orthopedics who is excited to expand their skill set into Pelvic Health.
We operate completely outside the high-volume insurance model. We don't double-book, we don't use aides to run treatments, and we don't rush through high-volume schedules. Every appointment is 60 full minutes dedicated entirely to one patient.
No prior pelvic health experience required! New grads and orthopedic PTAs are welcome to apply. We provide a fully paid, structured internal mentorship program and covered continuing education coursework (CEUs) to ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, 60-minute 1-on-1 treatments to outpatient orthopedic and pelvic health patients under PT supervision.
Progress individualized plan of care goals, therapeutic exercise programs, and functional movement strategies.
Gradually integrate pelvic health patients across all genders with direct, hands-on guidance from senior clinicians.
Maintain clear, concise clinical documentation in our modern EMR platform.
Foster an empathetic, empowering, and safe environment for patients receiving specialty care.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensure: Active (or pending) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California.
Experience: Strong interest or background in outpatient orthopedic care (New Grad PTAs welcome!).
Specialization: Genuine interest in gaining pelvic health specialization (treating all genders).
Skills: Strong communication skills, high empathy, and a patient-centered clinical approach.
Compensation & Benefits
Full-Time Base Salary: $64,000 – $78,000 / year (commensurate with experience)
Part-Time / PRN Rate: $48.00 – $55.00 / hour
