Salary: $268,000–$380,000 annually (DOE & specialty)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No nights, weekends, or inpatient call
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Overview

A respected nonprofit community health center in Escondido, CA is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. This is an outpatient-only physician role with flexible scheduling options — full-time (40 hrs/week) or reduced full-time (32 hrs/week). No inpatient call, no nights, and no weekends. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care including preventive health, chronic disease management, and physical exams

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)

• Administer vaccinations and manage medications

• Provide prenatal and postnatal care (if within training/scope)

• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care

• Complete EHR documentation within 72 hours

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MAs, nurses, behavioral health, care coordinators)

• Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives

• Supervise residents or medical students as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Active & unrestricted California medical license (required)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required)

• Current DEA registration and BLS certification (required)

• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Arabic preferred

Compensation

• Family Medicine: $268,000–$363,000 annually

• Internal Medicine: $281,000–$380,000 annually

• Monthly performance-based incentive bonus

• Four hours/week of protected administrative time
