Job Description:

Join our expanding team! The Senior Compensation Analyst operates with minimal supervision, providing professional and technical expertise in compensation project planning and program development to support our business needs while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. You will manage large-scale compensation projects, conduct analyses to meet project objectives and timelines, and mentor the department to ensure smooth implementation. Additionally, you will research emerging trends, best practices, and design costs, generating insights and recommending program adjustments. You will also advise the HR team and business units on current compensation programs, policies, and guidelines, ensuring understanding and smooth implementation. You'll act as the primary contact for compensation matters, collaborating with key stakeholders including AZ IT, AZ Finance & Payroll, external vendors, other US entities, and our Headquarter TRD to enhance cross-functional efficiency and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops data models and supports tool development initiatives across the department.
  • Sets up complex spreadsheets, performs necessary compensation and data analytics, and gathers stakeholder feedback to propose solutions for unique business challenges.
  • Conducts comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis on overall structure and pay programs, including market analysis, incentive analysis, job leveling, benchmark assessment, cost/benefit analysis, compliance, pay equity, and organizational impact in a timely manner.
  • Assists in implementing compensation strategies to improve operational processing and productivity in a startup environment.
  • Develops and maintains complex Excel reports to support data analysis and administration of annual merit and bonus cycles as assigned.
  • Supports the offer exceptions process for assigned levels and educates HR partners on compensation programs, including how to analyze and communicate pay administration programs.
  • Supports company audits as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintains required documentation for policies, procedures, controls, and plans.
  • Develops training materials to support HR programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years of compensation experience, with at least two (2) years in progressive, professional compensation program design, preferably in a multinational corporation or consultancy firm, and desirable industry experience in semiconductor, hi-tech, or manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Thorough understanding of compensation best practices and audit and regulatory environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills including experience with data models, v-lookup, pivot-tables, and formulas, and a willingness to learn macros.
  • Strong math skills and understanding of statistics and regression analysis.
  • Experience with HCM, PeopleSoft is desirable.
  • Experience with surveys, Radford, and WTW is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written, across different levels and functions of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and learning abilities, with a strong desire for continuous improvement and excellence in work.
  • Resilient when facing challenges and flexible to work extended hours to meet commitments in a startup environment.
  • CCP in progress or completed is highly preferred.
  • Onsite work is required.
