Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Marketing Director to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies while managing both in-house and outsourced talent. This role requires a 10-hour per week commitment and combines strategic planning with hands-on tactical implementation.
This is a fully remote position. Candidates from any location in the US will be considered. Experience in construction or low voltage industries is valuable but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Implementation
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Transform KPIs into actionable marketing initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards to demonstrate ROI and campaign effectiveness
- Manage lead generation and nurturing programs across multiple channels
- Oversee development of content strategy for website and email campaigns
Team & Resource Management
- Direct and coordinate activities of in-house and outsourced team members
- Define strategy, tactics, and processes for team execution
- Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manage vendor relationships and external consultants
- Provide project management oversight for marketing initiatives
Technical Operations
- Lead setup and management of marketing technology stack
- Configure and optimize Pipedrive CRM, including:
- Custom workflow creation and automation
- Integration with other marketing tools
- Pipeline management and reporting
- Team training and troubleshooting
- Manage MailChimp email marketing platform, including:
- Drip campaign creation and optimization
- List segmentation and management
- Integration with CRM and other tools
- Performance tracking and reporting
- Oversee implementation of additional tools including:
- Orum power dialer
- Calendly scheduling system
- Zapier integrations
- Other marketing automation tools as needed
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience
- Proven track record in marketing leadership roles
- Extensive experience managing both in-house and outsourced teams
- Demonstrated success in implementing marketing technology solutions
- Strong background in both strategic planning and tactical execution
Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Pipedrive CRM
- Advanced knowledge of MailChimp or similar email marketing platforms
- Experience with marketing automation and integration tools
- Proficient in marketing analytics and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing technology stack
Leadership & Communication
- Exceptional project management capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Experience in developing and documenting processes and procedures
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management
Industry Knowledge
- Understanding of B2B marketing in the construction or facilities management sector (preferred)
